If Safeway is your friendly neighborhood grocer and wants a friendly feel, then the policy of not public postings is un neighborly. I recently aske to place a picture of our lost dog up in a small neighborhood Safeway in Roxborough Village Colorado and was told of the ridgid policy.
It was at that moment I decided to make it my mission to steer all of my orgnaizations 1500 members away from this grocery giant that comes into our neighborhoods and provides no sense of community. Public community boards in the local grocery stor that every one frequents would be a great service for the custome.
For some ridiculous political reason the policy forbids neighbors to communicate with one and other in this common netting place within a neighborhood. You can however pay to advertise on the grocery carts! PAY to let your neighbors know of neighbor hood events, school fund raisers, lost pets...
Safeway is gotten too big and too impersonal for my business andvia social media I will urge all to find a local alternative such as vitamin cottage.
