Went grocery shopping at Safeway figuring I would give them some of my business rather than Costco. What a mistake. Upon checking out with a $400 cart of groceries. My wife was led to the back office and told that they have a policy that limits the amount of the checks that you write. Ours was $170.. We ended up paying with our credit card. Good thing we had it on us... We now have a new policy ourselves. We dont shop at Safeway... GOOD BYE SAFEWAY!!! If they have such a policy they might want to let the people know what their check limits are or post it on the way in so you can find out what your limit is... Whatever... I hope the dill weed that came up with this gets a big ole fat bonus at the end of the year. He should have been a rocket scientist for Iran instead.
