Im writing this report for I know there are plenty of complaints for IC Solutions. First the reason the company even exist is because of cell phones and digital lines. When trying to receive calls from the inmate on this type of phones the collect calls cant be billed to the phone bill, so you will have to Pre Pay in advance. The rates are usual base off your area code and the prefix of your phone number so as long as you live close to the facility you shouldn't be paying a arm and a leg for the calls.
Some of my favorite facility's for IC Solutions is Hillsborough county were the processing fee is 8.95. Each facility IC Solutions has usually has some sort of processing fee (unless its in new Mexico) if you are lucky the processing fee can be waived if you pay over $50 on the acct.
IC Solutions does have some problems with refunding money for dropped calls. Especially if your phone is a cell phone. They usually automaticly say "we cant refund funds for dropped calls due to cell phone quality". I do know that some facility's has higher connection fee then some so i do understand people complaints about getting ripped off for the dropped calls. But when the calls are only. 85 per call and you got to talk for 8mins but you are still complain for 2 months for one dropped call. Then you should be saving your money on food and not calls because you are poor.
IC Solutions agents are usually very helpful as long as you keep the cussing to an minimum. But if you are looking to put money on anything but the phone calls you are out of luck. Most agents are helpful in that i hate my life sort of way, but of course there is usually that one agent who does not know what they are doing.
If you need to have the inmate contacted in any way IC Solutions cant help you there system is basic run of the mill acct setup only. They are able to give you certain numbers but they cant guarantee that this company has the fact you are looking for.
But please just remember the agent you are talking to are humans too.
