This company is full of SCAM ARTISTS!!!
THey literally stole my freakin money! I know the law and I also know that what is stating on a signed appplication is legally binding! Let's begin on how this company LITERALLY STOLE MY MONEY!
My fiance and I are looking for a bigger place for our new baby (Due in MArch so excited!), so we saw a great deal with Property Upsurge! I contacted them they showed us a few places that saturday! We read the application which states " a holding depsoit can be given to hold the property from being rented while your application is reviewed." I called on Monday to inform KATIE (the Thief) that we were no longer interested in pursuing the condo because of the area. KATIE told me "oh okay, well you guys were approved I was going to let you know that." I said "okay thanks we just didn't think the area was safe and we would like to move in on Feb 1." She replied, " OK, just let me know when your coming in and we can have a check written out to you for $250 (since thats what we gave her)."
The next day my fiance called and was on her way when KATIE told her she wasn't getting a refund!!! The application states that upon approval they would apply your holding deposit to the security deposit and if you weren't approved they would give you a refund! What the hell! It said nothing about if you choose not to proceed we keep your money! Because I would have never made that deal! It's ridiculous!
I gave KATIE OF PROPERTY UPSURGE IN ANTIOCH, more then enough chances to give us our funds back! We needed that money! We are having a new born baby and it clearly didn't state they would keep our fund! A credit check fee OK! But the entire 250!!! What the hell is that?! We didn't sign a damn lease! So what constitues you stealing from me!
WHen we tried to call and get a copy of our lease to sue KATIE and Property Upsurge she kept hanging up on us! Stating she doesn't have time to deal with uss! She's a professional! Why people feel they are big enough to pick on the little guy I don't know BUt I'm no dummy! AND THEY ARE IN FOR THE FIGHT OF THERE LIVES!
Not only for us but because there are other's out there and i know they are stealing there money as well!
Listen life is hard and short and i am not into swindling ppl for what they earn what's fair is fair! For them to take a fee for running the credit report thats fair but not to keep all of my funds!
Please never use this company they will take your money and cause you a ton of stress! They don't care about there customers if they did they would have given the family that has a baby on the way there funds back especially since it was only 1 day passed since i'd given it to them!
