Bought a new home in December. Had to call call ARS out December (few days before labor warranty expired per their receipt).instead of checking system of leaks the "technician" decides to fill with freon and leave. A year later almost to the date had to call ARS back out for same problem, and now that it was conveniently outside the warranty, ARS did an inspection and found I had a leak and now it would be $2500 for parts and labor.
To further prove this is a BAD company, ARS told me part of the price would be for parts which was a 2 year warranty on a new built home. After talking to a friend who worked in the HVAC business for 30 years he said that was a LIE, all units have a 5 year mandatory warranty; which I found to be true when I went into the attic and found the warranty ARS left up there, again, conveniently. So ARS planned to charge me for a free part under warranty. Isn't ARS just SCUM?
ARS doesn't call back, over charge, rip you off and run a warranty scam. This company is the epitome of a poor company. ARS blatantly rip off their consumers for bigger profits. I have had problems with companies like everyone but most try and do the right thing, ARS doesn't; and I believe part of that problem is that they cut their bids down so that companies like Beazer and KB will use them in home construction and they make up any short comings or losses ripping off the home owners of the homes they are building. What helps ARS, and BAD companies like them, is the fact that people only see sites like this after they were scammed and not before bring SCUM into their homes and around their family.
Just something to think about with all the bad reviews here and at the BBB and with the FTC, not to mention their google reviews; why would anyone want to use them? Especially with all the reputable HVAC companies around (sing, myatt bates, etc.).
