Ripoff false promises poor service fraudulent company false advertising, lies and fraud Gaithersburg Maryland

I'm also, a victim of direcway false advertising, lies and fraud.

This company was recommended to me from the Gary Halbert stock trading system. I live in a RURAL AREA and can not get either DSL or cable connection.

I decided to try out Direcway DW6000 satellite unit dish.
Believing this service was a good idea, because it would leave my telephone line free. I logged on to www.direcpc.com and saw these words about their service, high speed Internet Access, your superfast, always-on satellite Internet connection is ready when you are-no dialing in, no waiting ect.

Without hesitation or reading their subscriber Agreement. I registered for their services online at the web site above, this was in mid December. They emailed me a confirmation of the order, after that I did not hear anything from them until Febuary 11. I got a call from their subcontractor dealer, cable system, for direction to my location for someone to come out to install the satellite dish. The Installation technician, never ask nor got my permission to install that satellite dish on my roof over my office, he could have ask if I wanted it mounted on the roof or on a pole.

When My husband, came home from work he told me that it was not normal to have a huge satellite dish mounted on the roof.

During that time it was not doing any damage to tne roof nor was I having any problem with satellite system, until the third day of service, I logged on trying to access the internet the system got slower and slower with each passing day, most times I got no access at all what I would get is Failure to connect to web server or suspect web Acceleration Infrastructure outage
(Error 505) and the connection to web acceleration equipment in Direcway Network Operations center suddenly failed indicating a problem in that equipment.

This happens all the time even when the weather is not the problem. Run from this company - they are a long way from keeping their services promises.

Needless to say, but Direcway will do whatever it takes to get their defective dish Installed in consumers home knowing full well that their service is a scam.

From that day to this one I'm still having problem with the satellite system, my roof and the second repair & Installation technician that Direcway sent to my house that cause the leak in my roof.

Every time it rains which I have a lot of here in Saint Anne Woods, it knocks out the reception of the satellite.

I have been calling tech support, since then often and they would blame the problem on the weather, put me though a unnessary process of unplugging the cables to the unit, have me go into tools on microsoft Internet Explorer task bar, then to internet options click on connections, Lan settings, and a host of other task that made no difference the problem was not solve.
Every time I call them another person would answer the phone, and I would do the same task all over again, but it never help solve the problem.

In mid April the system signal strenth failed to ten, I called tech support and was told it's weather related problem, wait until the it clears and the system would correct itself.

I waited for two days called them back and told them I trade stocks on the internet, and can not wait for the weather to be clear to be able to log on the Internet, again I was told when the weather clears the system will correct itself.

Two weeks later the weather clear and I still was unable to connect to the internet and the system did not correct itself either. I called them back to request that they send someone to repoint my satellite dish, and that I have been without access to the Internet for two going on three weeks. They said I frist had to do a speed test, and go though all the task I have list above, because this is what's required before they could write up a report on my problems, after the test and other requirement was completed to no avail, I was told that someone would be sent to my house, but it take some time since the report had to be done frist and that it would be done that night. Four days later, the same person the installed the system from cable system repointed the satellite dish, and told me that wind had blowed the bolts loose so he put two more in.

That day my system was up and running again.

In May 10. My system reception was knockout again, and the signal strength fail to 7. I call Direcway and was told the same thing it's weather related, it will correct itself and there's nothing they could do. I could not access the Internet for about a month which in fact, cause me to lose over $1,000.00 in my Internet trading account. After that I decided to call Direcway cancellation Department to cancel my service with them, the man I was speaking with about cancelling my service stated are you aware that if you cancel before having the system for 12 months you would have to pay a $300.00 cancelation fee. I told him no and why should I have to pay a fee it's not my fault their service do not work.
I aready pay this company $102.49 a month for cappy service.

Next he said well you have two option, let us try to fix the system for you and you can get credit for your down time or you can cancel and pay us a $300.00 cancelation fee.

I decided to give them one more try, he then told me he's going to tranfer me to tech support again I had to do their routine test and task to no avail before they would sent someone to my house, for the same problem a third time to repoint the satellite dish.

I had to wait a week before someone called me, I got a call from Tom, May 28 he left a message in my voice mail box telling me to call him to set an appointment for his repair & Installation technician to come to my house. I called him back May 28 and he said his repair & installation technician would be in my area May 29 could he come by that day or are you going out of town for the holiday weekend, I told him that I would be out of town, so the appointment was set for June 04 at 9:30 A.M. That day came and no show up, later that day about 3:00 P.M. Tom call to apologize for the delay he said someone had call from my area and he thought it was my son, stating that my mother had call concerning problem with her satellite system, therefore, he had put them ahead of me and would it still be alright for his man to come later that evening I told him yes it would be alright.

Later that evening June 04,200 repair & Installation technician Timothy, subcontractor from Get wired @ Home calls and ask for direction to my house, I gave him the direction and he came right out to my house, went in my office where my computer is tryed to access the Internet, but could not and went out back where the satellite is on the roof, got on the roof to boit the satellite dish deeper into the beams on the roof, I heard him banging for about thirty minutes, then he came back into the house I ask him what was the problem, he told me that the original Installation technician had not boited the satellite dish deep enough in the beams on my roof and that he reboited the satellite dish deeper in the beams on my roof, he check the unit, and the system still was not operating, he had to regista the system a second time and get my singnature on Direcway Installation Reference Sheet.

June 09 it rained and that when I noticed the roof was leaking in my office room where the satellite dish is mounted, I called Direcway and the lady that answered the telephone ask me what do I want her to do, I told her that this is Direcway problem, so, she said let me give you the telephone number to the subcontractor, she gave me the telephone number to cable systems, the company that Installed the system, Febuary 11 I had this system three months after that company Installed it and had no problems with my roof leaking.

The next day I look at both of my Installation Reference sheet, that when I realize the phone number was that of cable systems, the wrong company. Get wired @ Home is the company whose repair & Installation technician decided that the first Installation tcehnician had not boited the dish deep enough, then boited it into the beams of my roof. It's pretty obvious that he had no idea of what he was doing. As a result, I now have a leaking roof.
More damage this?

June 11 I call Tom, Manager at Get wired @ Home to explain to what was going on, and his reply was I apologize but I don't understand what you are talking about, that Timothy suppose to only repointed the satellite dish. I told him that he also reboited the dish into the beams on my roof. Then he I have to talk to Timothy, to find out what he did on your roof, and call you back. Well, that never happen.

June 14 I call Tom, again and get the same old story, I apologize for not calling you back, he has not spoken to Timothy, and when he do he will call me back, and never call back.

June 16.2004 I call Tom, and hear a lot of funny noise in the back ground, right at the time when then he tells me to hold on, get back on the tell he is in the middle of something can he call me right back knowing good and well he's not going to call me back.

Tom, has no regard for me, my leaking roof and shows no concern what so ever.

I have made calls, tring to get someome to repair my roof, and all I get is the run around no one will cooperate, they will not respond to repairing my damage roof, and wall cause by their repair & Installation technicain Timothy, drilling and boiting that satelite dish deeper into the beams on my roof.

Meanwhile, again, I have water leaking in my office.

What can I do? Help somebody please!
