After being with Verizon Wireless for over two years, I ported my and my wife's cell phone to another service. Given a call from Verizon Wireless of great New deals they had, on June 4th I ported our two cell phone numbers back.
There was a problem with my wife's cell phone number but I was assured it would be taken care of in 24 hours. I call June 7th, June 9th, June 11th, and June 15th. Twice a trouble ticket was entered in Verizon Wireless system. On the morning of June 15th I was given the trouble ticket number.
When I got home that evening, Verizon Wireless had sent out letters showing two new 2-year contract for my cell phone line and a temporary line given to my wife. We hadn't signed or asked for new contracts. I called in to have this resolved only to find out that my wife's cell phone line (of over two years) had been given to a new customer!!!
I put in several hours dealing with Candy, Nathan, Ron, Luis, Dave Locklin, Gale, Jane Kent, and other customer service Reps only to have my wife's cell phone number given to a NEW customer. It just shows how they feel about their loyal customers!
