So i was black Friday shopping at jcp and had some family in town we came across the griddles that were advertised with a $10 rebate. Asked the folks if they could use one and sure enough they accepted and I ended up buying 2 of them. They left back home Saturday after black Friday with there griddles. Monday I am in the office getting ready to send the rebates in, the receipt states to send in a copy of the reciept along with the completed rebate form so I do and send them in. A few weeks later I get a letter in the mail that states they need a copy of the bar code.
So I call the customer service desk and get a hold of a rude young ladie that sounded just miserable whom stated that there was no way to get my rebate without the bar code. Which doesnt make any sense as you have my reciept showing you that they were purchase and where. Why not have jcp send you the damn bar code. Much to my dismay she was rude couldnt justfy the need for a bar code and wouldnt transfer me to a manager. I called back twice and recieved the same responses from the 2 different reps they had and none would transfer to a manager. I am hoping this will get them to re evaluate there stance on what is actually requested vs. What is needed to supposedly give the rebate.
