On 6/21 I applied and paid $38 for a replacement social security card at www.SOCIAL-SECURITY-CARD.com. When my payment was accepted I was given a confirmation number for my transaction but I never received the confirmation email the web site stated they would send me. I waited several weeks for my social security card but it never came. I tried calling the company at 800-971-8249 but the outgoing message says the number has been temporarily disabled. I also sent an email to [email protected] but never received a reply. On top of that their web site is down. Here's what comes up when you go to their site:
