We have been customers of BHN, first Time Warner, since three years ago, having had ALL sorts of problems from getting the cable disconnected due to their mistake (we were paid up) to being double-billed, to not being able to get HBO on demand after paying for it, to not being able to get movies on demand, and a movie on our bill we didn't even watch (later credited) to having all kind of technical difficulties and promises for the problems to get fixed and later billed too much... I cannot even start to explain. We've spoke to managers with empty promises of getting back to us, we've had problems with Road Runner (technical, spam, general problems, poor customer service and billing) we changed to Earthlink, who after I was AGAIN billed incorrectly (obviously to their benefit) kept referring us to BH and they would refer us back... One kept blaming the other, but we did find out Earthlink was not to blame in the long run, it was BH the whole time.
Finally, we got a hold of the Director @ BH and ONLY after complaining to the BBB and speaking to her, we got some kind of compensation, ONE MONTH FREE, after 2.5 years of loyal customers getting screwed. But we were content. Well, it didn't last long. Now, after my fiance wanted to get TVR (which I don't want to purchase ANYTHING extra they have honestly) we cannot get movies on demand again. We complained, got a rude $#%@$ who said it was the whole area... Gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the following week still the same problem, so we call again! This time they said they'd send a tech, they said a manager would contact us; a week goes by and we're still waiting! And today I call I how long am I on wait? ONE FULL HOUR! No response, just that they are overwhelmed with calls. Whatever! One hour? They're just not answering because they know their service SUCKS and they have nothing to say about it. It's a SCAM! It's FALSE ADVERTISEMENT to say they provide a service, be it you pay extra or not, if you can NEVER get it. Their employees are impatient, don't know how to handle anything but their managers are worse. Promising to call and never getting back. I have now left a voicemail to the director I once contacted in hopes to get some kind of resolution. It's very easy for them to charge you anything extra you order, but they never want to give you credit for not being able to provide a service they advertise as common. Futhermore, their recording while on hold is a JOKE!"QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE" it says. Yeah! Right.
It's just another FLORIDA scam! I'm sure they don't do this with their NY customers who don't take crap from anyone!
If it doesn't get resolved, I am taking it again to the BBB and taking legal action as well, since I have documentation of everything. I was actually very stupid to ask for only one month comp after all the fricking hassles I went thru and paying roughly every month $130! It's not damn cheap!
These people need to STOP lying! STOP cheating! STOP misrepresenting! STOP false advertising! It is SCAREY that no company can be trusted lately! Not even large corporations or small family businesses - it's pathetic and unhuman and it HAS TO COME TO AN END!
