The company hired on the guarantee that the Screening Manager (reverse sales technique sales person) would have '2' ISR's; (inside sales reps) to 'set appointments'. One for 'independent activity' and one for 'Dunn & Bradstreet' leads. We were then told after hire, that 2 appointments would be set for each '8' cards sent in from I/A. This NEVER happened. Then you get put on "PIP", 'Performance Inprovement Plan'... If you don't hit quota which was 81,000.00 and 3 boxes per week. IT is now $60,000.00 and 2 boxes, because people were not hitting their numbers. They dock you for each 'unmarked' feedback form, and that will cost you 'half' of your hard earned commissions, which could be $20,000.00 depending on how much you had installed and 'funded'.in short, they look for reasons to take from the employee, not to help.
The company is firing people left and right. There is NO stability and certainly NO LOYALTY to any employees. IT is a 'user' company. Most people do NOT know, that they will honestly be stuck with the entire 'lump sum' of a 5 year contract, once it is installed. NorVergence has nothing to lose, it provides lousey coverage for 'benefits' for anyone who can make it past 90 days, and work 75 hours a week and weekends. I saw some of these posts prior to hire, yet I went on ahead, and found out there were true. Corporate tells new hires it's all 'disgruntled' employees. Well YEAH... And there are some very unhappy 'clients' as well. NorVergence will say that they are just looking for the 'best of the best'. I understand business, and have worked for large companies. When it boils down to it, they are 'reselling' at 10 percent less of what a client is paying now. Period. And you are locked in for 5 years to a bank. A lot can happen in 5 years. The 'Rental Agreement' is NON TRANSFERRABLE. So if one sells or goes under, that' personal guarantee obliges the 'signer' to the life of the contract. Some things to think about. Are you where you thought you would be 5 years ago?
