I order flowers for my MIL to be delivered the next day. Next day came and went and we hadnt heard a big "thank you" from his mother yet. No emails either regarding if my ordder got delivered or notttt. Thier 800number is also closed on weekends so I was unable to speak to ANYONE and I was freaking. So by the NEXT day after not hearing from his mom, I was calling every florist in that town trying to find WHO had bloomstoday orders. Finally I found one who took thier order but didnt actually have MY order and she gave me HER direct line to bloomstoday.com that florists use. I called that, sure enought, they are working weekends! Anyways, the rep tells me my order "missed her and will deliver to her on mothers day (day3) to her home." I was sastified w / that answer. Well 2 hours later, I get a phone call from THE florist in Wichita taht has her order saying, "I havent been able to get her so we need her to come pick the flowers up monday" and i was FUMING. I told them her home address (which they didnt have) and they delivered to her later that evening. FOR ONE THING, NO ONE tried to deliver to her home or work at ALL on the day of delivery, she was at work all day. No one tried to on saturaday, and obvioulsly they couldnt have since they didnt even know her home address. Everyone lied (the CSR and the local florist) and they just wanted my MIL to come PICK IT UP after they actually never tried to drop it off. I wont use again. I also signed up for 2 services w / monthly fee's that now i have to cancel. When you sign up to be a member, u dont realize you arent signing up for something that costs, u think u are just beconig an 'email member' and subjecting yourself to unwanted emails for a one time 50% saving. The web design is very misleading. Not once after my order did i ever receive an email that my order was delayed or eventually received. Also, the florist said that 'most of the time they have to cancel orders from bloomstoday.com because they dont pay them enough'... So they are actually ripping local florists off, u think your order is set to go and u will get notified a few days LATER than ur order was canceled. Save the headadche and just order from a florist who lives locally to your receipant.
