I found bloomstoday on the internet when I googled for online florists. They guaranteed same day delivery if need be. Their site appeared to be legit and they had a wonderful display of floral arrangements, so I ventured in and placed an order of flowers for my mother, who lived out of state. I placed the order on January 8 and decided to have the floral arrangement delivered on January 9. After receiving a confirmation email for my order, bloomstoday gave me the name of the florist in the geographical area as my mother, for whom I could call to confirm the order was received and/or delivered. When I called the florist, they stated that they had not received any orders. I then called bloomstoday back and they told me that the order was confirmed by the florist. I requested that they call the florist with me on the line, but they stated that they couldn't do that. So I called the florist back who once again stated that they had Not received any order. Again I called bloomstoday who then told me that the order was sent to another florist. They gave me the name and phone number for the new florist, but when I called; they too had not received any order. I called bloomstoday back again and was told that the new florist had received the order and that delivery was guarnteed. Well, here I sit, January 9 at 5:09pm and no flowers were ever delivered to my mother, but amazingly enough, my checking account was charged the $40 for the order. I did call bloomstoday back and demand a full refund since they were in full breach of contract. They informed me that they would issue the refund but that it could take up to 5 business days. I told them that this was not acceptable and that if I did not receive my refund in full by Monday morning, then I would be pursuing this matter legally for their false advertising and breach of contract. I contracted them for a service for which I paid for but never received. The CSR at bloomstoday hung up on me. Seems to me that bloomstoday should change their company name to scamstoday or bumstoday because my mother never received any blooms today.
