I paid the "discount" $97 for a membership with a 100% 30 moneyback guarantee. The company touted how easy it was to get started entering links on websites right away and that it paid well. Not TOO well, which threw me off the "too good to be true" scent. It was unclear what to do. There were long documents to download and youtube videos to watch.
The company promised a mentor to answer questions at anytime online. Mentor emails were form emails.
I decided to get a refund. The next day I checked my credit card to see if it had gone through yet. There were TWO charges. One for the $98 and another one the same day for $178. I had not been notified of this.
I called to cancel my membership. When the voicemail picked up after many rings, the message said I was calling outside of the 9-5 office hours (I called at 2 pm) and to call back later. No opportunity to leave a message.
I called my credit card, talked to security and had the account closed before the charges went through. I had to insist I wanted it closed instead of waiting for the charge to go through and then refute it.inSIST!
