I went into lowes and seen some appliances that looked to be a good deal., i had saved for months, i went home retrieved my money and came back and purchased the 2 dishwashers, double oven, refrigerator and cook top, a few days later, we had decided to move for a relocation with a job, after getting to georgia, we waited 24 hours and plugged in the refrigerator (we never used the items when we first purchased them) because we were moving to georgia (we received a call that my brother was extremely sick and we had to leave (my new boss, had a licensed contrator who was going to put in the cooktop, oven and dishwashers while we were gone, we get a call a week later from the contractor that the double oven is missing wiring and it isn't safe to hook up and that the cooktop has the same problem, we were extremely upset and said we would call lowes, we returned home and as son s we came in the door it was the nastiess foul odor, we looked all over and finally opened the refrigerator to find evrything was black, blue and furry, we called lowes, store manager is out spoke to another manager, told he can't do anything, have to wait till monday, we had to throw evrything out, put the dishes in the dishwasher, turned it on, it starts banging really loud, look and it's on fire!!! Turn it off, open it, fires out, my dishes are broke, burned and smoked, i'm done and this starts us having to go out to eat everyday, finally monday, call store in union (new york) where we moved from told manager, everything that's going on, his response, so sorry, do i have receipt, no, do i know when i purchased, yes, i gave him all the information, prices, time, everything, he says he'll look into will call me back, (the month is june, never hear back, i call again, again, again, now another manager calls, their working on it, someone named charles calls me (704-758-2993), explain it to him, he'll have someone contact me, another week passes, i call, someone claiming to be district manager for union calls me (very nasty personality, arrogant-732-904-5727), says he'll be my contact ask me to explain, again, a week passes, i hear nothing, so i email ceo, vice president and some others, i get a call from arrogant one again, he's working on it, will call me tommorrow, no call, i email ceo and others again, i get email from their legal department not to contact them again, theat he's taking care of this, yet i have never talked to him, never corresponded with him except email to not contact ceo, a mr. Wesley starts calling me, he says he's going to get this taken care of, does he (no!!! 0now i hear from noone, i leave messages for evryone, nothing,) it's now september, call the manager in union (store manager kyle) he tells me to go in pick out new aplliances and get back to him so they can exchange him, he will get it cleared up with his district manager, five minutes later, get a call from same store (kyles store) wait before i pick out appliances they need to come out to see if they can be rapaired first, i tell them i don't want them repaired, they say they have to repair first, why would i want appliances that are fire hazzard repaired, no i don't want that i tell her, she says kyle, will call me back, never calls, i 'm leaving message s again, nothing, finally mr. Wesley calls, says their going to send a store manager out to take pictures of appliance and to get it taken care of and exchanged, (manager comes out takes pictures) i'm told it will be taken care of by end of week, didn't happen, call mr. Wesley, they will call me again by friday so i can exchange them, no call again, call mr. Wesley again (because now i found out that these appliances were on recall) he says he will let them know, it's october, still nothing, now we've been eating out all these months, which i can't afford, (asked would they reemburse me for food exspense) mr. Wesley says he'll let them know.., called fcc, they informed me once lowes found out these were recall it should have been taken care of immediately (still didn't happen) still waiting, leaving messages, finally on halloween, legal sends me a letter, asking, why should they do anything, because they can't find the paperwork and that one of the units was manufactured in i have heard several customers complaining about their appliances and lowes always say the same thing can't find paper work, manufacter date is old, customers have blogs created just for lowes appliances...
