Earlier today I was looking online for the phone number to AMS Billing to pay my water bill. While having a heated discussion with my fiance about how there was NO POSSIBLE WAY that we were using so much water in our two bedroom apartment. I found this site. I COULD NOT believe what I was reading!!!
I moved into this apartment in Sarasota, FL in April. Since then, my water bills have been continually rising each month (drastically!). At first I attributed it to the toilet leaking, but after the toilet had been fixed I knew something had to be wrong. I have no washing machine and (at this particular time) had not been living in my apartment. However, my water bill was exactly the same as the previous months and slightly increased. There was NO WAY I had been using all of that water. One month I had gone out of town and was a couple of days late paying my bill. I, as well, came home to find a note from my landlord threatening if I didn't pay my balance I would be evicted. I wasn't even 10 days late! I didn't know how that it could be legal to share my personal information with my landlord or the renting company at my apartment complex.
After finding this site, I found out that I am NOT the only one experiencing these problems. All of these other people have been experiencing the same type of scam I have. This billing company is ripping everyone off and getting away with it.
