This AM I heard about a Government Stimulus program that monitors your spending and helps save you $2000.00 dollars in groceries. I called the 1-800-274-0219 number. I was immediately asked my name, where I shop, & told the vouchers could not be used to purchase alcohol or cigarette products. Then I was informed that I could receive $2000.00 vouchers to purchase grocers & $500.00 in coupons. Yes it sounded like a sweet offer.
The person then began asking about my address & billing information, because I had to pay $19.95 for shipping cost. I then asked her to tell me about the company before I make the investment. She stated the company name was grocery. Coupon.com that they had various investors. I relied I was not feeling good about this offer & asked for a number that could tell me more about this government investment. She stated it was not a program that I would get a check, however as a consumer I just wanted to know more about this program or was it just a scam.
I called the 1-800-520-7034 customer service number and only heard a recording message.
Please investigate this scam that is using the government stimulus program.
