Like everyone else on this site, I heard the advertisement for $2000 in groceries for a government sponsored study. I sounded too good to be true, but against my better judgement, I called to get more info. They were very convincing about the program. I asked multiple times about how it works and was told I would receive VOUCHERS not coupons that I can use at any grocery store. They explained I would be billed a one time fee of $19.95 for "shipping", but that I will be reimbursed through a free trial of Freeshipping.com.
I had a bad feeling about this in my gut and as soon as I had access to a computer looked it up and came accross hundreds of complaints. I should have followed my instints on this one... I called and tried to cancel and after 50mins on hold (yes 50 minutes) was told they could not cancel the order before it is processed. I was left with no choice, but to report my credit card stolen and get a new number. What a hassle this will be with all my recurring billers! I learned my lesson and hope no charges make it through. Hope this helps someone out there smart enough to look this up before calling. Best wishes...
