Let me start off by stating that I have been in the Air Force for 22 years and have never been ripped off like i was with this company called the ARMED FORCES TACTICAL or AFTACTICAL.com. I saw a video concerning altima boots that i wanted and went to their web site. After about three weeks the boots arrived and they were ROTHCO made in China boots. I immediately called the number of this store and got a young spanish person on the phone that could hardly speak English. I wanted to return the boots and get my money back, but he told me I had to email someone somewhere else. I already felt the scam going down.
Next day my wife is using the computer and tells me that our antivirus was saying that we had malware in our system. I tried to take it out, but I couldn't, so I called a friend of mine (and IT) and he came over and found out that the AFTACTICAL.com website downloaded a virus in my computer, stole all my information and was as he called it, tunneling my every move.
So now, not only do I not have the boots I ordered, but this SCAM company stole my personal info on my computer at home. When I researched the address of this company, I found out it was to a COMPUTER COMPANY!!! Get a load of that - the scammers from NYC got me! So I can only let my fellow Airmen know that they SHOULD NOT BUY OR EVEN GO TO THIS WEBSITE!!! I filed a complaint with the FBI and my local police authorities.
