Expecting a shipment of fine art, arrangements were made for my associate to take the day off from work to await the delivery via Old Dominion. When they called to schedule the delivery, they were told it was a residence... But when the driver showed up he couldn't unload the crates because my associate didn't have a forklift available.
Upon calling the company, they admitted it was their mistake. When asked for a redelivery they said they couldn't because my associate was out of town and that was the only place they would deliver the goods. As my associate will be out of town for 20 days, I am not sure what ODFL will do with my merchandise because they claim they will only hold for 14 days before disposal.
