Misdirected shipment, and refused to correct problem

We have been using old Dominion for shipping of our printed material for a while. Last week we had sent two shipments with them (Originating from Massachusetts). One to Ithaca NY and one to Colorado. They transposed the shipments, even though they were labeled. The Ithaca became the problem. The expected delivery time was 3 to 4 working days. Customer needed it within 7 for distribution. The value of the product is app. $25000.00, and if arrival was after needed date, product was of no use.
Once the problem was discovered, Old dominion refused to do anything for us, other than redirecting, taking an additional 5 days. This put delivery beyond acceptable date. We had to (At our expense) expedite an air frieght service to pick product up in Colorado and fly to proper location.
Old Dominion lost a good account, and I will do as much as possible to spread the bad word. Poor customer service!
