Donor Circle is a company that seeks out non profits and promises to increase donations by magically captivating a potential donor the minute they come to your website. They make promises of increased donations and organization growth. This is a scam. The company's product is actually distracting to a web visitor; it aggravates a potential donor and is not secure. They claim it is secure however, running video while accepting credit cards is not secure no matter how they spin it. I was a victim of credit card fraud and after many hours, days, weeks we figured out that my information was stolen when donating through this product they call "light box" I went back to the non profit who I originally donated to let them know that their donors were being victimized and it turned out they had cancelled their serviced with this company for this reason amongst others. I did my research on this company and although you won't find it easily, the company's main head is a man named Richard Gordon.
After goggling this man I found out why his name is not listed on any of the company's information. He has a terrible reputation for doing just that, ripping people off. Therefore, this company (in my rightful opinion) is a dangerous scam and should be avoided at all costs. I also discovered they go under the name New Media, Light Box Solutions, and others. Do your research people! Dont be scammed.
