I listened to a Network for Good teleconference in 2007 and decided on that day that Network for Good was not a company our charity wanted to have business dealing with, they had too many opportunities for waste, fraud, and abuse. The website extracts a 4.75% fee from paypal and debit or credit card donations. There is a written statement that Network for Good and it's parent for profit company can divert the donation to a nonprofit of thier choice. The donor who donates in January has no knowledge at the time of the donation that they were a victim of deception and their donation was given to another charity.

Friends in Action has a no credit or debit card donation policy. We have operated with this policy in place for years and continue to do so today, February 1.
