This is not the first time I've written about this particular store. They have gone far beyond the limits of what I call proper. To say that Sam Waltons' stores and name have been taken to the lowest depths possible, would not even cover what they've done to me now!
Basically, I had been contacted about a supposed "bad check" that had not cleared after they received it. I had called both my bank, to which that particular account had been closed before the check was written, and I also called Wal Mart. Well, I "thought" that the matter had been settled upon my informing all parties who needed to know, that the checks had been stolen and were used by whoever. I was "assured" by this WM customer relations employee, that I would not have to worry about this matter anymore because my bank had sent them the proper information to show that I was not responsible.
Well, now, in todays mail, I receive a letter from the local police department informing me that they have a check that was no good from Wal Mart and if I didn't clear this amount up by April 6th, I would face being arrested and put into jail! I am completely floored by their greed and lowly actions towards an innocent person! I was told that the matter was closed and now to have this happen? I never liked Wal Mart but this has put my hatred towards them to a whole new level and the level of greed that they have shown is outright despicable!!! I don't know what else to do but pay this bill and the worst part about all of this is that I am collecting (this is my last week for this "huge" amount too) a lousy $105 a week from unemployment! I now have $30 left to my name b/c I'm FORCED to pay this or face being arrested!
I do plan on filing a suit for harassment against Wal Mart. They have NOT heard the last from me OR about what low measures they'll take to collect that HUGE amount of money that obviously will put the whole store out of business if they don't get it. PALEEZE!!! This is definitely the lowest I've ever seen anyone or, especially such a huge chain who earn hundreds of billons of dollars every year. Like I said, I guess the $26 dollars that someone STOLE from me would be just enough to put Wal Mart out of business here. What a joke that company is and I now know where I will NEVER shop again AND I will tell all of my friends about this which will take even more business away. They have gone too far this time...
