AHS doesnt pay their contractors enough. As a result the contractors have to over charge the customer. They use a variety of excuses to get the money from the home owner. Get a second opinion and double check with your local code enforcement agency to keep them honest. Dont accept AHS saying you have no choice pay what contractor says or accept a buy out. AHS isn't interested in keeping the contractors honest. All they care about is collecting the premiums from the home owners and keeping their out of pocket as low as possible...
