In April we entered into a contract with ADT to monitor our 2nd office building. The representative for ADT signed the contract.in December we contacted the representative and told them we no longer required the services at this location at which time ADT sent a representative out and they removed the equipment. We had arranged for the monthly payments to be automatically deducted from a business checking account.
ADT, has been continuing to deduct $117.24 from this account since December of and refuses to refund us a dime! The representative for ADT that signed our original contract is no longer with the company and ADT says they don't have any records indicating that we asked for this cancellation.
ADT "claims" they have no written cancellation from my company and refuse to take any action. This building has been vacant for almost 3 years and stripped of any monitoring equipment and they have continued to deduct monies for "security services"! Ha! What a joke. What could they have possibly been servicing?
I suggest to everyone, do not enter into an agreement with ADT! If the agent you sign a contract with leaves, you will be left - high and dry - with no remedy, except complaining!
