We bought a Goodman AC device from Coastal Ac and Support, Inc.in Victoria, FL on 8/4/08. Significantly less than 2 yrs after buying this device, the compressor has burned-out. Coastal emerged out to consider it and informed us the compressor was out. I had been normally upset whilst the device was significantly less than 2 yrs old. I named Coastal and spoken towards the operator, Bill, concerning the issue and he explained the components were still under guarantee which the labor wasn't (12 months guarantee about the work). I subsequently did some study on Goodman AC models and unearthed that they've a great status due to their converters which one using out after 2 yrs wasn't typical. I subsequently named another buddy who industrial AC function in the future and appear in the issue. He tested out the system and established that it had been the compressor that had burned-out. Then he examined the circuit breaker and unearthed that when Coastal mounted the system on 8/4/08 they didn't change-out the circuit breaker from the 30 amp to some 20-amp. 20-amp is actually created privately of the condenser unit whilst the optimum amplifiers for that device. He was really rude in my experience at the start of the phone call, ostensibly stating I had been rude your day before and didn't keep in touch with him quite properly. Then he explained the only company we had a need to discuss was whether or not I needed them to complete the job for $450 or not. I inquired easily might request a problem concerning the function and he said yes. I subsequently told him exactly what the additional AC technology had discovered concerning the circuit breaker. Then he proceeded to consult me what my point-of informing him these records was. Then he questioned basically was seeking them to complete the mount of the brand new compressor at no cost. I told him, because it appeared as if these were irresponsible for that issue in the end, that I thought like they ought to get it done at no cost. It had been their problem in the end using the method they mounted the system nearly 2 yrs ago. Then he reduce me down and stated the one thing he desired to understand was whether I needed them to complete the job for $450 or not. He explained possibly I told him sure or no, or he was holding up. Then he proceeded to hold on me, after I attempted to keep in touch with him concerning the circuit breaker again. That's why I'm processing this criticism. Coastal Ac did poor function when adding my device 2 yrs before, by not adding the right circuit breaker, or atleast allowing me, the homeowner, learn about it. It's a $10 circuit breaker and may have avoided this $450 bill that I'm today spending. I'm scammed and there's nothing I will do about this except document this criticism.
