Still being upset about Kohl's treating an honest customer like a criminal when ordering a gift card online, I was told I would get a credit of $10.00 plus another one of $50.00 towards the charge of the gift card. When I checked my balance on the account, it only showed a credit a credit of $10.00. Kohl's refused to honor the request, especially, since there was a order processing delay mentioned in its emails to me, however, no reason for the delay was disclosed. When I questioned its Customer Service, I was connected to the "Corporate Fraudulent Activity" Department, and a thorough investigation begun, before the order was released. Again, no indication was given, how long it would be before the gift card order was transmitted to a family member in California. I didn't owe Kohl anything, and I don't use Credit Cards only very seldomly! Kohl's treated me like a crminal, and if they would have stated in their email, that the reason for the order processing delay would be a criminal investigation, I immediately would have canceled the order.
Kohl's business behavior towards its best customers should not be tolderated in any way, especially the non-disclosure policy should be investigated by a thrid party.
