My one-year service contract will end 03/18. I do not have money to continue service. So I wrote e-mail, then snail mail, confirming my request of service and account termination.
They want me to call 1-866-293-4634 to cancel. I am hard of hearing. I can not have verbal communication. (Cellulars were not for me. They were for friends/relatives).
I think my letter with my signature and all the information are enough, for cancellation! I told them I can not call. I prefer to write. They say, they will suspend the account only, and the contract will be extended as the amount of time as the suspension last.
They do not want to let me go off their hook as easily as when signed - up for their service and cell purchase.
I feel this is a bad practice, rogue, and scoundrel. Taken advantage of disabled people, bilking, cheating.
