This guy ripped us off with our pool, but did not go down without a fight

Ah yes... The Bernie Madoff of pools, Danny Veno, well here is my nightmare with this idiot.

Told us our pool would be finished in 2 months, took 8 months and still did not finish, ended up paying thousands more out of our pocket to finish.

They dug out the pool, did the rebarb, plaster and partial plumbing, did not run a gas line to our heater until one day I decided to test it, low and behold, no gas line. He blamed the contractor he was using, after several fights on the phone, it got done... 1 month later.

After the partial plumbing, this idiot would never give me a straight answer, he always blamed his mom, and contractors for incompletions, after he got our money, the fight was on, oh we have some doozies too, was not going to let this punk off that easy, I just wanted my pool finished and here it was 8 months later still incomplete.

So what does he do... He tells me he dropped off the remaining pump items off at my back gate, which he never did, claimed that someone took it since I did not get it, in other words, you finish your own pool, after screaming and yelling going back and forth on the phone I gave up just to keep my sanity, filed 3 times with the BBB on his...

After hiring my pool guy I have now, we realized that the pump and other items were junk!!! I have since then had to replaster, replace the chlorinator box, redo the mastic, replace the pump, and buy a new light, all within a few years, all should have lasted a lot longer than that, all he did has come out after pump was hooked up and turn it on, no orientation, no nothing..

Bottom line, our fault for not checking with the BBB, an expensive lesson learned, would someone please have this Bernie Madoff thrown in jail please??? My horrible childish experience with Veno was in 2006 of March and vacated the job in October. I think he does this to get out od warantee repair's, because I could not contact him the first time my pump crapped out, no where to be found. DO NOT USE THIS SO CALLED POOL OWNER WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!

We call our Polaris pool sweep cleaner Danny, because it sucks!!!

All of us hopes he lands in jail...
