Taking Tests to become 3rd key with no training

I am in the process of taking the tests on the computer to become a 3rd key or assistant manager for my Family Dollar. My manager told me either to take the 3rd key position or my manager would lower my pay and hours. So of course I took it and now I can't even answer questions on the tests like "how many times can a manager re-key?" I didn't even know what re-keying was! I have called and reported this manager's behavior of talking VERY badly about employees to ex-employees, customers and to other employees. Is this a violation of company policy? Or am I wrong for calling AlertLine? I have called our DM and asked about training or something and was told there is training online when I am testing... Where? My manager isn't helping me and has not helped the past assistant that recently quit due to my manager's rude and unacceptable behavior. I am VERY nervous about becoming a key because I feel I will receive the same treatment as my former assistant.
What can I do about this and who do I need to speak to and get this resolved. Obviously nothing is helping!
