Monster movers major thieves!!!
Liars!!!"three men and a 24ft truck" liars!!!
They keep removing my posts... But i'll keep reposting and flagging their ads as we proceed with legal action.
The lowest of the low - scammed a disabled woman and her disabled son.
Billed her for $4,700.00 at the end of a 2 hour move
Charged her $4050 for shrink wrap!!! Itemized at $90 per unit of shrink wrap and that is not a roll of wrap that is the cost to wrap one item (like a chair).
They did a 2 hour move... Quoted her $60.00 per hour... And handed her a bill at the end for $4700.00.
They kept her stuff locked in the truck and even refused to release her son's meds until she could produce the money.
Since she did not have the money (all she reserved was 300.00 for the move) they *discounted* her $1200, made her sign over her brand new washer and dryer (valued at $2000) for a $1000 credit and still required her to pay $2500... So in the end she paid $3500.00 for a 2 hour move.
On top of that, they broke several of her pieces, did not even have a dolly to move er stuff in so scratched her floors, and left all the boxes on the front lawn.
They threatened to ship her items to chicago if she did not pay. She had her mothers antiques in the truck and other priceless mementos.
These guys are the lowest of the low.
They are all over craigslist and are listed as monster movers, but they conveniently sub-contract out to another company (who is the group that shows up at your house).
This is how they keep under the radar.
