Beware - do not use Sears repair service. I had a dryer repaired that needed a new heating element in August at a cost of $200. The new heating element went out on December 26 (four months later). After speaking to a customer service rep and supposedly a supervisor, they informed me that I would have to pay for another service call and the heating element and service was only guaranteed for three months. It's funny that the original part lasted 10 years, but the "new" replacement lasted only four months. If you do the math, it would be cheaper for me to buy a new dryer at this rate. I am not having Sears come again and after my parents doing business with them for over 50 years and me for over 30, I won't be buying any more appliances from them. They either want to scam you on the repair service or make you buy a new appliance.
