Tobacco Plains Realty in Eureka, Montana should not be trust by the general public. Greg Hanson, a real estate agent for the company, misrepresented the rental house at 7288 Fortine Creek Road in Trego. The house is totally infested with pack rats. The pack rats have eaten through insulation in the basement and come and go as they please inside the house.
I had rented the house and moved my things in before I realized that the pack rats were presenting a public health problem. There was nothing I could do - the pack rats were urinating and leaving droppings all over the house, all over the kitchen counters and all over my belongings.
The owner of the house, Betsy Rogolino of Fort Pierce / Port St. Lucie, Florida, agreed last November to return my rent and deposit ($2,200), minus a reasonable dollar amount to pay for winterizing the house. That would be about $1,800.
After waiting patiently for her refund, I called her and she told me that she was not giving me any money back.
