I am A make-up artist in the chicago area. I've worked as a contacted artist for TCT for 18 months. I was contracted by Holly Spears, former employee of Wilhelmina Scouting Network (WSN), in August to work on a photo tour, along with other make-up artists and photographers, to shoot talent that had signed up for the Fashion Rock event that took place in Orlando, FL on October2-5th.
My contact was for $8,000, 00 plus my airfare which was $682.00. Halfway through the tour, everything at corporate was getting screwed up as usual, people, including holly, were fired, and the tour was cancelled.
After the tour was cancelled, they tried to buy out everyone's contract for a ridiculously low amount. To make a long story short, they paid every other artist on the tour (50% of their contract) except for me. To this day they still haven't paid me. I hired lawyers to try to get my money and got no response. Now they are bankrupt and I will never see a penny of my money.
