$299 ripoff From my point of view they are just finding excuses to STEAL my money, and others too

By the end of May, I receive a phone call from a marketing person. This person said that he was calling from my bank and that they just need to confirm my checking account number to protect it because someone was trying to take $299 dollars from it. Then I was naive and I gave to this person my checking account number getting the next confirmation number: #425071.

Then, on June 3rd $299 dollars were taking from my checking account. I went to my bank to figure out what was going on, and they got me a copy of a check issued by paybycheck.com paid to Cybertel Security.

Until that point I did not know who Cybertel Security was, and through the internet I was able to find a customer service phone number which is 1-866-939-4646. I call to this phone number and a guy named Tony Almeida told me that I authorized the payment and that I was going to receive a security package in between 6 to 8 weeks.

Due to my lack of power in this situation I just wait for the package. Then finally after many calls to the customer service phone number I receive the security package from Cybertel Security on September 29. I open the package to know what a security package was, but I did not found any interesting on it.

I put EVERYTHING back on the package and went right away to the closest USPS office. I got a delivery confirmation number which states that Cybertel Security received the package on October 1st. After a lot of calls to figure out what was going on, someone finally answer the phone and ask me to send a fax the following number: 1-866-939-2079. They ask me to include in the fax a copy of the receipt that certifies that I sent the package, and I did so.

Then again after a lot of calls, I got a phone call from Peter Johnson on December 17th saying that they did receive the package but that the refund was not possible because the package was incomplete!

I was amazed by the situation, and I told them that I put everything back in that package, and I sent it the same day I receive it. If the package was incomplete, why they did not tell me right away? Why they had to wait for me to contact them in order to tell me? I was really mad at this guy and I ask him if he knew what was missing from the package, and guess what the answer was? He does not know! Then I told him that if the package was incomplete was because they sent it incomplete.

He said that that was impossible, and then I ask again, did you put everything on the package? Of course the answer was NO! So how can you be sure that the package was send complete, it is just impossible. After arguing with this guy for about half an hour I ask him to send me a letter staying what was missing from the package. He said ok, but he can not ensure me when I am going to receive that letter. Can you believe that???

From my point of view they are just finding excuses to STEAL my money, and others too. I wonder if there is a way to get in touch with other victims from this company in order to make a claim all together to who may concern. I am an international student, and I am not familiar with the American law, therefore I do not know where I can find some legal help to solve this issue. If someone can help me and want to contact me, feel free to do it. I do not want to lose my $299 and I will go until the end because I want justice for me and others too.
