I signed the 5 years lease for my business with Mr. Eri Krock, owner of The Harbor Blvd Associates in 1998 in which I overlooked in the contract signed the operating expenses varied yearly depending on how much the company spend to fix the place. Since then, he tried to rip me off in so many ways.
My business monthly rent was 1,800 dollars and my operating expenses are $600.00 a month. They are still not enough for the company. At the end of each year, he said I still owed him $1900.00 extra that I had to pay him. I did not want to pay and he gave me a "3 day notice to pay or quit". I tried to report to Consumer affairs, Congressman, Assemblyman, they sll want me to seek legal help. I do not want to spend money and time to file lawsuits against him.
Recently, 3 months at the end of the lease, he found a new tenant and he kicked me out in 15 days. I did moved out in 15 days, then the new tenant did not want to move in and he returned back against me to make me pay the rent until the end of the lease. I did not want to pay him and he brought me to court to pay that amount.
I went ahead to small claims court to file a law suit against him for $5000.00 for cheating on my CAM and my deposit that he did not returned to me when he kicked me out of the space. I will let you know the results. My law suit is case number 03WS04301 in Small Claims court against him and his Associates. Please record in your file to help the innocent people from being rip off by this company.
