We first recieved our phone in Feburary of this year, along with a friend of ours that recieved her phone from a different dealer, but the same phone service and company.
When she recieved her first bil and we did not, we thought nothing of it, but after 3 months of not getting a bill, we began to worry. When we called up the company they said that they were behind in the billing and it would be a little longer for them to catch up, but not to worry, that they were not going to charge us for the back bills.
This is a 29.99 a month basic phone service. 2 more months later we recieved our bill and it was dated for a few months prior. Only 1 month's bill, totalling 39.99. That was ok, the next month we recieved a month bill for the next month after the one we had. (ex. It was may and we just got our march bill).
This bill had a charge about 190 dollars. We figured it was for catching up with the billing and paid it. Then the next month a bill came for over 250 dollars and had a previous balance, one week after this bill comes we recieve another one with a 300 dollar past due balance on top of 200 more dollars we owe, totaling over 500 dollars. How can this be posibble if you add up 5 months at 29.99, this totals 150.00, not over 500.
When we try to contact customer service, we get a recording saying that there are no customer service personel there today and to look on the web site. So I go to the site that they gave me, and it doesn't exhist, can't find it, or won't go through.
When I try worldcom main page and enter my account number and phone number, they say that the phone number I have doesn't exhist. What is going on with these people!!! This is what happens when a company lays off too many workers and tries to get away with murder. Can anyone help me with this???
