Company billed me for a long distance call from a Solomon Island dated Sep 9th a 2:07 pm. I called company to notified them that called was not place by me since I live by myself and I happened to work mon-fri from 8:00 A.M. To 5:00 p. M and that I did not have anybody at the time of this call living with me then or now. I repeatedly let them know that I'm a single woman and that I know I did not make that call.
I spoke to a guy name Ian who was extremely unhelpful. I explained to him that I don't even have a long distance service since I don't need one that a while ago they used to be my long distance service and I had a problem with this same island that my local Service ALTELL had billed me for $398.00 at the time & they even credit me for full amount. His response was that the only way he would be able to work with me if I would sign up for a service of a 10 cent a minute for long distance and a $35.00 flat fee to avoid this kind of problem.
I explained to him that I did not need this at this time since I have my cell phone where after 8:00 P.M. & weekends I have free long distance service and he just kept insisting that was the only way he would be able to waved my outstanding balance of $6.78 if I would signed for this service.
Please advised me of what to do since I feel I should not be obligated to have to sign up for anything for such a big company to take care of such problem. Sincerely, xenia
