Paying for fast shipping is a scam!

Sears has a fraudulent shipping process that depends on customers to not call back and just sit and wait for their product long past when it was supposed to arrive, even though they paid for expedited shipping.

I paid extra for 2 day shipping. I was notified by Sears that the product was shipped on Nov. 15 and should have arrived on Nov. 17. It is now the 22. I called and the lady said it is standard for Sears to take the product to UPS where it sits for 5-7 days before shipping. It is listed with UPS only as "billing information received" still today.

After I gave her my order number at first the lady said the computer system was down and they can't access my information. Then I told them this is the second time I contacted them and I need her first and last name, employee number etc. As I will be filing a small claims suit. Within seconds the computer was miraculously back up and all my order info. Was in front of her. I still don't know when my product will arrive. Their system seems to be to charge extra for fast shipping and then having no intention to meet that deadline. Then if poeple call to complain the computer is miraculously down, so they will have to call back later. Only for the customers who fight it long enough will they give in and refund the Shipping. I am sure are making millions of dollars on this scam to charge extra for fast shipping that they never intend to provide and have a built in refund prevention system.
