I contracted with this mover to move me direct from Debary, Fl to Searcy, Ar. Gave them a $500.00 deposit via credit card. A few days before the move, they called & informed me that my furniture would be picked up & stored in their warehouse in southern Fl till they had a bigger truck going to Arkansas. They said it could be several days, & as we all know, several days can turn into several weeks! I emailed them & cancelled the move & paid another mover over $1,000.00 more for the same move.
I got a credit on my credit card for my $500, but they later reversed it. The mover flat out lied and told them I did not cancel. I have an emAIL TO PROVE IT. They said they sent a truck 250 miles to my home. THEY DID NOT!!! They said they called me & I said OK to keep my deposit—FLAT OUT LIE!!!
Do not deal with these crooks & liars.
What really floored me is that my credit card co—5th Third—said it is a civil matter & did not protect me. Guess I thought a credit card protected me from scammers & liars.
