I signed a contract with Consolidated to move furniture from IL. To FL. Later found that they were a broker and that Liberty Moving was the hauler. The night prior to the move, Moshe from Liberty called me and said he could not understand the contract that I signed and that Liberty wrote their own contracts.
He stated that I would have to sign their contract when the truck arrived and that they would give me a price when the truck was loaded. I informed him that I signed a contract and would not sign another. He stated that there would be no truck unless I agreed. I called him a crooked S.O. B and terminated the connection.
We had drove from FL. To IL. For the move. Had to return to FL. And find a honest mover.
I used a credit card to pay Consolidated a $524.67 deposit and upon my return to FL. I called the credit card company, they stopped payment and now Consolidated is saying that I broke the contract and the payment should be re-instated
