If you are reached by this company do not respond! I posted my resume and received a call from a young girl who said the "hiring manager" saw my resume on Careerbuilder and would like me to come in for an interview. They wanted to see me the very next morning which was odd to me, but I obliged. The interview seemed pretty legit, until the man that I met with, Brad Hiller, said it was a 3 step interview process, and the next step would require me to come in for a full day of work. He told me to give him a call in about an hour, and he would let me know if I made it to the 2nd round of interviews. When I called back, they said that I made it through to the second round, and that they wanted me to come in the very next day from 10am-5pm. Oh, and the secretary suggested I "wear comfortable shoes."
At this point I became highly suspicious. I could not find any dirt on the company Luxe Marketing, however, I did a google search for Brad Hiller. I stumbled across his facebook page which included a link to 7 Promotions, Inc. I googled that company and found an array of scam warnings for that company on this forum. Everything that was detailed in this forum for 7 Promotions was exactly what I experienced on this interview for Luxe Marketing. I am so grateful to the people who posted so that I didn't not waste an entire day tomorrow. According to those who were tricked into the 2nd phase of the interview process, this company works as a Pyramid scheme. On your day of "shadowing" you are carted around as a door-to-door salesman feeding businesses a load of BS. Additionally, the great Account Executive job with good salary and benefits that you were told about in your initial interview suddenly becomes a commision only position.
It appears that this company has changed names several times. Currently they are working under the alias of Luxe Marketing - PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED.
