I would like to warn everyone about 7 promotions inc. I fortunately did not get scammed by them and the reason being is bc I looked here on rip off report first and found 14 reports on them. But I came extremely close to it. I submitted my resume (careerbuilder) late at night after business hours and I was contacted the next morning at 9AM via email and telephone. Their job posting says there is full benefits, paid training and bonuses. This is the reason I applied. I went in for a 15 minute interview. You were not allowed to ask any kind of pertinent questions. While I was waiting for my interview the woman behind the desk called applicant after applicant setting up interviews. She must of called 15 people in the five minutes I was waiting to speak with Allan (the Manager). She also told me that they just moved to Valhalla in the spring and they are not staying there they are moving to White Plains in the next few months. I spoke with the Manager Allan and he told me vaguely what they do. They work with Verizon and Quill. (he did not say doing what or selling what). He asked me a few questions about myself. He said he was impressed with my background and my experience. He then said he has a few more preliminary interviews to conduct and to call back at 4:30 to see if I made it to the next round of interviews. Mind you it was already 4PM. He also told me that the second interview would be a full day of shadowing an agent. I would be there from 10-5. Driving around with this employee and seeing what he does all day and taking notes and also this sales rep would be interviewing me as well. I was also told that all my questions would be answered and compensation would be explained and so forth. I get home it is now 430 I call and I get the whole CONGRATULATIONS u made it to the second round of interviews be in tomorrow at 10 AM. I found this to be a little odd so I then googled 7 promotions inc and found nothing negative information about them. If you read past my post you will see that they have changed names a handful of times to allude their bad rep. They do not pay benefits, no bonuses they say what they have to to get the person in the door. So if you have your resume out there and you see this company do not send your resume to them or if they find your resume and they call you do not respond. I want to thank the others who posted all this information about them bc you saved me a big headache although I am terribly sorry that you had to deal with these low lives.
