Diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year, Reconstruction this year... AHS refuses to fix A/C

I bought my home in 06/08. The first time I used my air which was in August of that year, I had to call AHS to have a technician come out and look at it. The vendor stated that "there is a leak but I don't have time to check it." He recharged the unit, and it worked fine. Next summer, A/C not cooling again. I call AHS per their warranty, and they send the same service tech out again. He simply "recharges" the unit and leaves. Works all summer. This year, the A/C does not cool again when turned on. I call AHS again and this time I remind them that they have sent the same gentleman out each time, and he stated in the initial visit that there was a leak. I need to have it fixed correctly because I can not afford to be paying $60 each time for something that isn't being repaired. They still send the same tech out, who remembers that there is a leak, but again, he does not have time to check it. He "recharges" the unit again, and tells me to call back in 3 weeks and they will send him out again at no charge. The A/C didn't last two weeks. It stopped cooling again. I call AHS... They send the request to the same tech. Who does not respond. I call AHS back to let them know I have not heard from him, and they attempt to contact him with no luck. The turn the request over to another vendor. The service tech comes to my home, and within 20 minutes finds the leak and repairs it! So we go to turn on the A/C... Nothing. He investigates and finds that now, the Variable Fan Motor is not working. He alerts AHS and they authorize him to search for the part. He is unable to find one, so he notifies AHS, and they are to look for the part. After a week, the tech phones me and lets me know that AHS is unable to locate the part, and are awaiting him to phone in a quote for a new Furnace. We wait a few days to hear back from AHS. On Wednesday, 07-20-10 the tech phones me again, and now AHS is saying that they are again looking for the part. Its extremely frustrating because they say one thing when you call, then another the next time. You never get the same person twice. He instructed me to phone AHS again and remind them of my situation... Which is this: I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year, had a Left Mastectomy, Chemotherapy, and now this year I've begun the Reconstruction phase. I have had issued with the first phase, which required me to have an emergency surgery on 07-06-10. I have been dealing with the heat and humidity and have been having a difficult time healing during this. I notified AHS of my situation, and no response or concern for my health and safety were conveyed. I am frustrated. I am a single mom of four children, barely making ends meet, and fighting with AHS every turn in the road. This is not the first time I have been made to suffer by AHS. They took 2 months to get my Microwave fixed earlier this year. They have you over a barrel and they know it. I kept this warranty because as a single mom, I can't afford to replace an appliance on my own. There were supposed to be here to help me! Now, all they care about is prolonging my problem. I have notified my State Attorney General of my situation. I suggest all do so, if nothing else to have something on record of the injustice that AHS shows.
