Joe Janas is one very smooth operator... But I had the last laugh. I had contracted with him to build me a deck. He looked around my condo and convinced me I needed a paint job. Unfortunately, I agreed.
Long story short, he gave me a price for a deck, painting and installing a microwave over my oven. He promised to come back the very next morning to install the microwave but did not show up until two days later only to paint. Went back and forth over when the deck would be finished, which he never installed because he couldn't do a drawing to get township approval.
That was the only thing I wanted in the first place, was a deck.
I ended up successfully suing him for the remainder of my money but trust me, this guy is a greedy man and his wife is no better, as I'm sure she knows what he does.
