Long Distance ripoff Dishonest Marketing

I was called several times by AT&T marketing team to switch my long distance to AT&T. They tried several perks and finally offered me 40$ credit every month for the first few months.

I switched to AT&T and I could not see the 40$ credit in my bill, I called the Customer service and they told me, i will get the 40$ credit when my bill will exceed 100 or 200$. I told them about the marketing call that was made to me. He told me they are independent and does not belong to AT&T and sometimes make these false promises and we can not do anything about this and you have to pay the bill.

Just beware of any marketing call from AT&T. I can not believe that any reputed company can drop to these level of corruption.
