At&t has a new scam where when you first signup for a 2 year service contract they bill you for 2 months or a month in advance. If you happen to cancel your contract before the 2 years is up they suddenlly develop amnesia and claim they have been billing you on a month by month basis... Look at your" STATEMENT DATE" and "BILLING PERIOD' on the same bill you will see different months. The billing "PERIOD" is actually the month you are paying for and not what is listed on top of the bill as the "STATEMENT DATE". They are ripping of alot of unsuspecting individuals with this one.
"STATEMENT DATE'... Really means when your paper bill was printed and not the month of service you are actually paying for
'BILLING PERIOD"... Is the months you are actually paying for when you send payment
