As a gift from my mom, I ordered a pair of Ugg boots (in the style called Nightfall) from Uggnation.com for Christmas. The boots came in the mail and they were not the authentic Ugg boot that the website had advertised. My mom has the authentic Ugg Nightfall boots from the Ugg manufacturer. The boots I received from Uggnation.com had very thin and obviously faux fur. They are a much stiffer fabric on the outside than the authentic Ugg boots. I only took one of the boots out of the packaging to begin with. I placed both boots in the original packaging into a newer, more substantial box and contacted the company immediately. I asked about returning them for a refund. The customer service rep that emailed me back (Huang Lucy) refused to take the boots back for ANY kind of exchange/refund.
After a few email correspondences, I asked for a direct phone number to contact someone in person. This information was refused to me as well. The emails from this company were horribly condescending and offensive. For some reason, I received an email from the rep/company stating that the manager was willing to refund me for the boots w / instructions on sending them back (to China). I paid an additional $43 to ship them back and have not heard a word from this company yet. I have emailed a few more times w / no luck. I have checked my back account numerous times w / no credit from this company. They have been dishonest and unwilling to work w / me as a paying customer. I originally paid $119 for the boots (the promised amount to be refunded) and then an additional $43 for shipping. I have not seen on penny of this money - and have been treated badly the entire time. This has been a proverbial thorn in my side for over 3 months - way too long. I would not wish this treatment upon anyone!
