TWA Resale
Yet another scam

Kathy Sherman called from TWA Resale in March offering to sell our timeshare. She stated that they had a 95% success rate in selling properties and went over a list of how her company was different than other resalers. We did not immediately agree, rather I did some research online and found very little negative on the company. Throughout several conversations before we agreed to use their services she continually told me that the company "guaranteed" our timeshare would sale within 90 days. I guess I should have known that when she could not give me the "or" part of the guarantee that this was a scam. When asked point blank what happened IF our timeshare did not sell her eply was a very emphatic " Well that just doesn't happen!"
We sent them $999 for their service. About every 3 weeks we would get a call from them stating that they had buyers interested in our property... Or that they had a huge influx of buyers coming in this particular weekend for showings... Or some other lie insinuating that sale of our timeshare was imminent. They also would state that they would call us after the weekend and let us know the status of a sale of our property. Each time I would wait several days for them to call back ot no avail. Eventually I would call them back and sometimes I would get to talk to someone and sometimes not. Every time I talked to them, a buyer was in the financing stages or some other story about how the sale should be closed within a few days.
At the end of the 90 day "guarantee" period we still had no money from the sale of our property. At this time the calls stopped as well and we have not talked to anybody since July of last year. No calls initiated by them, no return of messages left by us. I tried to access their website to see if our listing was still up and got an "address not found" message. To me it seems obvious thatthis company is yet another scam, saying anything and using every lie in the book to get your money and then continuing to lie to you just long enough to appease you or give you false hope that they are legitimate. I would love nothing more than to get a refund from TWA Resale and have legal action taken against them for fraud. I have read numerous other stories over the last couple of days that are similar to mine. Where were these stories a year ago before I sent them my money?: (
